    If you drove past the school and saw ballons..then walked up the steps to find a big sign that read: NGA IWI SUPPORTS 'IKALE TAHI TONGA............you were about to enjoy a fabulous aroma of both Tongan and a Nga Iwi style feast! Accompanied with special guests 'Emosi Koloto and Tevita Tu'ifua.......enjoy the pictures!!

    When Nga Iwi School was chosen to represent Tonga for the annual Maori Tamariki Ora Sports day, our Maori students invited our Tongan students to participate in the event held at the Te Kura Kaupapa O Mangere on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th August. It involved a number of schools from all over Auckland who also represented other teams in celebration of the Rugby World Cup 2011.
