CHA CHA CHA - HAPPY FEET!! or is it *twinkle toes!! *
Year 3 & 4 are learning ball room dancing! The children in Rooms 14, 16, 23, 5, 3 and 7 have been learning basic steps in cha-cha. Boys and girls are also learning to courtsey and bow to show respect for one another.
But before all of this the Year 3 & 4 teachers put on their dancing shoes and shook their happy feet for an afternoon. We now have MR M - our happy feet person and twinkle toes Mrs Leilua and Whaea Helen! Miss W and Miss Stacey showed us fantastic new yorkers!! While Mrs Vimahi, Miss Refiti, Mr Arei and Mrs Pavihi enjoyed the music and taking part in learning the basic steps!!
Our challenge this week with the students is to learn the following:
Half moon turn and full moon turn steps and the glamourous 'new yorker!'
We are improving our strategies in several curriculum areas and are also having so much fun learning the cha cha cha!!
Well done Yr 3 & 4 children and staff!!
We are looking for volunteers that would like to read to our children. If you are interested please contact the office and ask for Annemarie.
If you would like your child to join the Walking School Bus please contact Matua George.

WOW How exciting
Kia Ora Whanau Ariki and friends
I will have to come along next week and learn some new dance moves. I am sure my 'robot' moves from the 80's are now out of date, lol. Keep up the awesome work.
Cheers
