Inter schools Sports Winter Sports Tournament
On Tuesday 31st May Nga Iwi participated in the winter tournament in Rugby, Soccer and Netball. Altogether we had eight teams competing. A great day was had and our children showed enthusiasm and great sportsmanship throughout the day in all codes. Congratulations to all who participated and a big vote of thanks to the teachers who coached the teams.
Special Congratulations to the our netball team which won the A grade competition.
REMINDERS
School begins at 8.55.
Lunch orders must be completed by 9.10a.m
Uniforms are compulsory, please make sure that your child is wearing their uniform every day.
Late Pick-ups after school
WE STILL HAVE UP TO 20 CHILDREN WHO ARE PICKED UP WELL AFTER 3.00 P.M. PLEASE PICK YOUR CHILDREN UP ON TIME.
School Car Park
- This is for staff only.
- It is not big enough to take all the parents’ cars, especially before and after school.
- The school gate is closed between 2.45 and 3.15 every day. This is a safety issue and if you are in the car park at that time you will have to wait until 3.15 to leave.
MONDAY IS QUEENS BIRTHDAY SO WE ALL HAVE A DAY OFF WORK AND SCHOOL. WE HOPE EVERYONE HAS A SAFE AND HAPPY LONG WEEKEND.
We are looking for volunteers that would like to read to our children. If you are interested please contact the office and ask for Annemarie.
