Kia ora Whanau School Uniform
Just a reminder to all parents/caregivers that our school uniform is compulsory. Your child should be in uniform everyday.. You may purchase the uniform from PostiePlus Airport - right next door to The Warehouse. If for some reason your child is not in uniform could you please send a note to your child's teacher stating the reason.
Hats
It is great to see many children now wearing their hats for outdoor activity. If your child does not have one yet they may be purchased from the school office for $5.00.
Swimming
Well done to those children who are bringing their swimming togs to school. All children should be participating in this as it is a compulsory part of our school curriculum. We are lucky enough that our senior students are participating in a community swimming programme run by trained swim instructors. To get the most benefit from this your child must bring their togs and towel each time they have their assigned session.
Friday Night Cricket
Nga Iwi School is entering a team in the Friday night cricket competition held at Centre Park on Robertson Road. If your child is interested they may see Matua George to get more information.
