TU PAKARI Re-dedication
It was such a beautiful morning for the Re-dedication of TU PAKARI.
The children sang beautiful waiata accompanied by Matua Tahinga (new staff member), Whaea Jean and Miss Stacey. All children participated in a historical event. We had special guests and visitors from the community, family, friends, our Maori Wardens, Kingsdene Kindergarten, representatives from our local marae, churches and members of local government agencies.
It was a beautiful ceremony and the plaque was unveiled by Koro Maurice Wilson, his grandson Matua Tahinga and a member of the Martin & Cotter-Williams Family who's children and grandchildren who are foundation members of TU PAKARI.
Thank you to one and all for making it a memorable event!
