Back in August, we entered the Tui / Mitre 10 Garden Challenge with our vegetable garden.

Today Miss Corlett and some members of the Nga Iwi Green Team, had a visit from 'Tui' (Gardening specialists)  today.  The lady was a judge in the competion that we entered back in August.  She came to look at our healthy vegetable garden.   She was very happy with the way our garden was growing.

We showed her our p lans and our booklet that we made with photos and comments about how the garden has been coming along.

We have being going on the laptops everyday. We have been learnng to  play maths games and working on figuring the problems out by ourselves. We have being going on nzmaths and mathsplayground websites.  I like using the laptops in our classroom because it makes us get better at solving maths problems and learning how to use the computers.

Today i learnt how to use my arms to swim freestyle.  We had to lift our arms up out of the water one at a time.  We had to hold our breathe under water for 3 arm swings and then come up to breathe.  We used the floating boards to help us float while we were swimming.
