Whanau Ariki Day
All parents are invited to Whanau Ariki Day on Tuesday 23rd March 2010.
We would like you to come and join in your child's fun learning day at school in Rooms 2, 3 and 4.
1st Block - 8:55am - 10:30am Parents are invited to observe learning in the classroom. The teachers will be running a normal Numeracy and Literacy programme.
2nd Block - 11:20 - 1:00pm We will have a rotation of workshops for the children to participate in. Parents are most welcome to join in. These workshops will be 15 minutes sessions. The children will be divided into small groups and will get an opportunity to spend time with members of the community along with their teachers learning about different roles adn responsibilities.
3rd Block 1:40 - 2:40pm Join us for a fun afternoon of sports and team building activities. Please remind the chidlren to bring their togs as some of the activities involve water!

We are looking for volunteers that would like to read to our children. If you are interested please contact the office and ask for Annemarie.
If you have any vegetable / fruit seedlings or seeds that you would like to donate to our school garden, please see Miss Corlett in Room 17.
